About Gigmates

Australia’s band room — gigs, bands, venues & mates.

Gigmates is an independent gig guide and booking board for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, Newcastle, the Gold Coast and Wollongong, in the spirit of the free street press and the gig posters on every telegraph pole. Each city has its own guide, put up by the bands, venues and organisers themselves. Fans browse free. Bands list gigs free on Opener, or go Headliner or Main Stage for a fan button, merch table and more. No ads, no third-party trackers. Made in Sydney, on Gadigal and Wangal land.
